I chose to teach because… Growing up, I was fortunate to have great teachers as role models at East Abbeville/Herod Elementary, J.H. Williams, and Abbeville High. They inspired me to succeed, and taught me to love the process of learning. In school, I gravitated towards music, and it felt like a natural fit for me to teach band. My goal is to be able to help my students love music and learning as much as I do.

My parents, Tony and Diane Meaux, own and operate Eustis Meaux and Son Grocery in Abbeville, LA; I spent MANY days working there growing up.
My sister, Lacey Meaux, is also a teacher in Vermilion Parish.
I have two beautiful godchildren: Ava Claire Simon and Jackson O’Neil Landry
Hobbies and Interests:
Spending time with my family, friends, and godchildren
Writing and arranging music
Reading and listening to music
Travelling as much as possible
Going to any and all UL sporting events, especially football and basketball games. Geaux Cajuns!
