How long have you been teaching? How long have you been at Jesse Owens?
This year was my first year of teaching and at Jesse Owens.
What was your favorite subject when you were in school?
I have always been good at numbers therefore Math was my favorite subject.
What do you love most about being here at JOES?
I love the small community and how everyone is eager to make a difference in the student's lives. Seeing all of the student's smiling faces all day makes teaching a passion not a job.
What's the farthest you've ever been from home?
When I graduated from college I took a trip to Jamaica.
What's your favorite meal?
My favorite meal is my dad's turkey neck fricassee.
What's one thing people would never guess about you?
I'm originally from Santa Maria, California.
