Students from JOES and GHs that scores at least 3 Mastery scores on the 2026 LEAP were rewarded. Students had the rides to themselves, they received snacks, water and a bag of Duck Festival swag. Thank you to Cajun Rides and The Duck Festival Association!

Today the Top 20 Readers of the 2025-2026 school year were taken on a field trip to Zoosiana in Lafayette! They got to see all of the animals, ride the train and the carousel, and it was a really fun day. Thank you to all of the parents and grandparents who really made this trip special for our top readers. It was great to have you all spend the day with us!
