This Week at JOES - 10/23-10/27


Monday is the official state mandated parent/teacher conference day for Vermilion Parish schools. Students do not have school.
Specific details on the schedule of your child's school should have been given out by the individual school.


Students that met their AR goal for the 1st 9 weeks were rewarded with an afternoon of kickball.





4-H officer training at Rene Rost Thursday, October 20th was a success! Thank you to Fynn Guidry, Lynnli Romero, and Brooke Gleason for going to learn how to make JOES even better at our monthly 4-H meetings!!!

Report Cards are going home!

Today we celebrate National Boss's Day, so please join the faculty and staff of Jesse Owens in saying "Thank You" to Mrs. Anita for being such a wonderful leader! She puts in countless hours and works tirelessly to make our school the best it can be because she loves our community, and we thank her!

Tomorrow is the beginning of the second nine weeks of school. Report Cards are set to go home on Friday, October 21st.
Parent Teacher Conferences will be held on Monday, October 24th.
