Thanks to Chief Cru Delcambre and the Gueydan Police Department, who visited and donated gifts to each of our Kindergarten students today.











Mr. John and the 4th and 5th grade Choir put on an amazing Holly Jolly Jukebox Christmas play today! Great job everyone!











Ms. Sydney and Mrs. Aimee’s 1st graders enjoyed a day full of grinch activities and were even surprised with a visit from Mr. Grinch himself! 🎄💚











4th and 5th graders at Jesse Owens with outstanding academic performance were inducted into the National Junior Beta club this afternoon. 5th grader Brody Harding led the meeting, and they were joined by GHS Senior Beta Officers Lakelyn Bruce, Heather Fontenot, Kennedi LeBlanc, Layne Porter, and Isaac Walton, who helped explain the tenets of Beta to all in attendance. Congratulations to these outstanding students on their accomplishment!









3rd graders and 4-H members at JOES had the opportunity to taste freshly picked then cooked collard greens and eggplant rice dressing today!



4th graders in Ms. Trahan’s class made vision models today to end our unit on Vision and Light!











1st grade took a trip to Gueydan Memorial Guest Home today to sing Christmas carols and deliver cards to the residents! 🎄🎁
